Award: University Bursary (£4,000/year)
"I come from a single-parent family and never thought university would be possible. The Charlotte Hosker Scholarship changed everything. I'm now in my final year at Imperial College London studying aerospace engineering, and I've already secured a graduate position at Rolls-Royce. This scholarship didn't just fund my education - it gave me the confidence to dream big."
Award: Sixth Form Support Grant + University Bursary
"The Trust supported me through my A-levels and then university. The sixth form grant meant I could afford the textbooks and resources I needed, and the university bursary allowed me to study Computer Science at Manchester without worrying about finances. I'm now a software developer at a tech startup, working on AI applications. Thank you for believing in me!"
Award: Full University Bursary (Undergraduate + Postgraduate)
"The Charlotte Hosker Scholarship Trust supported me through both my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and my PhD. I'm now a postdoctoral researcher working on cancer treatments. Without this support, I would never have been able to afford university, let alone further study. This scholarship literally changed the course of my life."

Answers to common questions about our scholarships
Yes! Many of our recipients receive multiple forms of support. For example, you might receive a sixth form grant and later apply for a university bursary, or combine a university bursary with equipment and travel grants.
Absolutely. While our mission prioritizes supporting girls and women in STEM (in line with Charlotte's legacy), we are open to applications from all genders. Male students who meet the eligibility criteria are welcome to apply and will be considered fairly.
We have two main application rounds each year: one in April/May for students starting university or sixth form in September, and one in November for mid-year support. However, emergency applications can be considered at any time for students facing unexpected financial hardship.
No. All our scholarships and grants are gifts, not loans. You are never required to repay the money. However, we do hope that successful recipients will consider giving back to the Trust in the future if they're able, helping us support the next generation.
